The exterior of the Chevrolet Colorado is different from any other pickup truck on the market. The silhouette is rugged and straight, with a chrome grill and six-lamp headlights separated into two groups of three lamps.

The lower third of the front end is rounded like the Chevrolet Silverado and other GM vehicles. The tailgate is a standard truck tailgate with an extensive rocker panel trim line along the bottom.

Colorado has two models - the Regular Cab and Crew Cab. The regular cab has a 60/40 split-bench seat, while the crew cab has seating for up to four people in the cabin. The Regular Cab is the base model, while the Crew Cab has more features. Both models have a cargo bed with a tailgate.

The Chevrolet Colorado's exterior is not only available in two body styles; it has two engine choices. The Regular Cab's base model is offered with a small V-6 engine. This engine produces and, although, with the automatic transmission, it can only achieve.
