The Chevy Silverado EV is a welcome addition to the Chevy Silverado family of vehicles and will deliver an impressive level of power and performance on the jobsite. Armed with this potent powertrain under the hood, the base Chevy Silverado EV WT will tow up to 8,000 pounds of cargo with a 1,200-pound maximum payload. When you couple that towing capability with an estimated 400-mile range, the Chevy Silverado EV is an impressive option.
Do you need more towing power? The Chevy Silverado EV RST trim level will deliver the power you need at work. The performance-tuned variant employs a Wide Open Watts Mode that translates to 664 horsepower and 780 pound-feet of torque with a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds and a maximum payload of 1,300 pounds. Chevrolet is expected to release a fleet Chevy Silverado EV WT trim level later in the model cycle that will tow a massive 20,000 pounds of cargo.
To upgrade performance on the jobsite, the Chevy Silverado EV is built with a Tow/Haul Mode, an integrated trailer brake controller and Hitch Guidance to make towing simple and safe. The available Advanced Trailering System will provide you with a 360-degree view of your trailer and its surroundings. Utility gets an upgrade with an available Multi-Flex Midgate that allows you to haul cargo that is 9 feet long with the 6-foot bed and an optional Multi-Flex Tailgate that provides you with a 10-foot, 10-inch load floor.
